adventures on the road

last month on the way home from fetching my daughter i suddenly heard a loud explosion.my tire burst but i didn’t panic coz it was the second time that such a thing happened. i felt blessed since it happened just seconds away from the corner of the street where i lived.

unluckily the spare tire was also busted so i had to leave the dilapidated van on the street. in the afternoon, i bought a new tire and found myself crossing the street with the tire ribboned with straw. i think i looked funny holding a tire riding the PUJ. i wouldn’t need a man in my life if i knew how to change tires.. well, i don’t and i’m glad there’s the suki ‘tire changer’ on the way home..

yesterday, the vehicle again stopped and wouldn’t budge no matter how hard i stepped on the gas pedal? or whatever you call it.

Engine trouble again!
good if something like this happened
but i don’t own a bentley and i have no paparazzi stalkers trailing me.

determined again not to have a man’s help. i crossed the street from the gas station carrying a 5 gallon water container now filled with super premium gas and an improvised C2 ‘embudo’ to fill the empty gas tank. alas!, the car ran–no engine trouble though.

now, if you can just buy love to fill that empty space in your heart…
